Laura Seltzer
Director / Producer / Camera

Laura founded Seltzer Film & Video in 1995 for the purpose of producing social action videos that inspire change.  As an independent filmmaker, Laura produces, writes and shoots many of her award winning projects.  From non-profits with cost effective budgets to high end corporate films and videos, she works closely with clients to create a professional, high-quality product. Laura cares about your cause. Her videos and television specials which include the The Last Boat Out, Conversations, and Changing the Face of Medicine demonstrate not only her producing skills, but her ability to convey a feeling. She becomes invested in your cause, bringing your story to life through video. (read full bio)

In 2010, Laura became business partners with long-time collaborator and fellow creative director, Abby Casper.  Together, their diverse backgrounds make their company perfect for any type of request.

Abby Casper
Executive Producer / Editor
Abby is an accomplished filmmaker with 25 years’ experience Executive Producing, producing and editing commercials, documentaries, and corporate videos.  As Executive Producer of Fountainhead Creative in New York City, she ran three edit suites, managed writers, producers, designers, video crews and support staff. Abby manages budgets ranging from conservative to obscene. She created Casper Productions in 2004, producing, directing and editing television and corporate videos for such clients as Good Housekeeping, Canon, Verizon Wireless, eBay, Pfizer, Accenture, New York Int’l Children’s Film Festival and Sony.

Morgan Gioffre
Key Production Assistant
Morgan was recently promoted to Key Production Assistant after working with us during her last semester at the Art Institute.  As a Digital Filmmaking and Video Production graduate, Morgan uses the skills she’s developed to assist in all aspects of production – from research and development, production coordination and assistant editing.  Morgan is our key Production Assistant on the PBS documentary series Voices of the Chesapeake.

Monica Manklang
Motion Graphic Artist / Web Designer
For the last 12 years, Monica has worked as a design professional in the Philadelphia area.  Experienced in graphic and web design, as well as film and video production, motion graphics, and photography, she has developed a wide skill set to support Seltzer Film and Video.  Monica specializes in the areas startups and non-profits, while creating engaging graphics and design that help businesses to develop a strong visual branding in a variety of mediums.

Rebecca Petner
Public Relations Assistant / Production Assistant
With a passion for people and their stories, Rebecca utilizes her strong interpersonal skills to reach out to non-profits small businesses to cultivate our client base. Rebecca also works as a production assistant on our various projects. She produced two short documentaries for the Veterans History Project, and has interviewed a variety of interesting guests on her own talk show in her undergrad: The Studio. Petner plans to appear on-air for our environmental web series: Green: Not Just a Color, but A Way of Life! to accompany the Voices of the ChesapeakeTV series. In 2010 Rebecca earned a Communication and Journalism degree at La Salle University.
