MY DEAR CHILDREN follows Feiga Shamis, a Jewish woman in Ukraine forced to flee her home with her husband and 12 children during WWI and the ensuing post-war pogroms. For years they moved from village to village until Feiga made the ultimate decision to send two of her children to South Africa for adoption, a decision that would impact multiple generations.
