Laura Seltzer-Duny

Executive Producer / Filmmaker / Impact Director

Emmy-nominated PBS Producer and award-winning filmmaker Laura Seltzer-Duny has been Producing and Directing documentaries and educational programs for over 20 years. Driven by her commitment to creating media that inspires social change, she founded Seltzer Film & Video, LLC.  Her work has aired on major networks including PBS, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, Discovery & History Channels.

As an Impact Director, Seltzer-Duny designs and oversees strategic campaigns that mobilize viewers to take action after watching a film. She and her team create outreach campaigns for causes that assist filmmakers in spreading the reach of their films. Seltzer Film & Video’s impact campaigns have been utilized by PBS Learning Media, the History Channel, the National Institutes of Health, the Center for Telehealth and Technology, and the American Psychological Association.

Mike Mascoll

Producer

Mike uses filmmaking to document invaluable chapters in Black History. His films offer opportunities for community engagement through discussions on race, diversity, inclusion, and contribution. He is working with Seltzer Film & Video as the Producer of The Gate. This will be the first feature-length PBS documentary and educational program about America’s first Contraband community. Mike Produced CodeSwitching: Race and Identity in the Suburban Schoolhouse and On The Line. Both films are about the longest voluntary school desegregation program in the US.

Mike founded LEV (Lift Every Voice) Production Company to create healthier dialogue and mutual respect for cultural differences – lifting the voices of future leaders. Upon completion of The Gate, he will spearhead the outreach and distribution of The Gate to educational institutions and communities throughout the country.

Chris Sacarabany

Co-Executive Producer

While joining the Nobody Wants Us producing team, Chris serves as the Executive Director of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding (FFEU), a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening Muslim-Jewish relations globally.

With FFEU he has worked closely with Seltzer Film & Video to produce over 30 educational videos. He also worked as a consultant at UNESCO and was a program manager at the Foundation Hommes de Parole, where he organized the three World Congresses of Imams and Rabbis for Peace (2005-2008). Chris holds a Master’s degree in Interfaith and Intercultural Mediation from the University of Aix-Marseille in France.

Victoria Bruce

Media Strategist / Writer

Victoria Bruce has been working with Seltzer Film & Video as a scriptwriter for our historical documentaries and educational programs for over 10 years.

She has written and produced award-winning documentaries airing on HBO, CBS’s 60 minutes, and featured at Sundance. Victoria has also written four non-fiction books on topics from human rights to global trade. She has a passion for giving voice to those in need and a long history of working on dramatic and sometimes dangerous non-fiction stories in Latin America. Laura Seltzer-Duny is producing Victoria’s documentary in progress about lawyers on the front lines of the immigration crisis in Central America.

Victoria holds a Master’s degree in Geology from the University of California, Riverside.

Rachel Zimmermann

Rachel Zimmermann was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia. From the time she was young, Rachel has wanted to tell stories that matter, which is why she joined our team.

She earned an M. A. in Film Production from Full Sail University. She has worked on scripted and reality television shows, including Be Our Chef (Disney+), In Pursuit with John Walsh (True Crime), and The Right Stuff (Disney+/ National Geographic).

When not working at Seltzer Film & Video, she enjoys traveling abroad, spending quality time with her cat, Cameron, reading, and crafting the perfect playlist for her next writing project.

Rachel also holds a B. A. in History and Religion from Roanoke College, in Salem, VA, as well as her M. A. in Religion, and M. A. in Sacred Theology from The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, in Philadelphia, PA.
